Do you think Ken Sugimori even really tries to make the individual Pokémon artworks look good? Considering he has cool shit like this in comparison to HGSS-XY Pokémon artworks, it doesn't look as vibrant and lacks personality.

At least he put sort of an effort into the gen 3 artworks, Hoenn and Kanto.
