That's quite possibly the dumbest shit I've ever heard. By that logic, why did they bring Gold back as the male MC in Crystal? Kris was the Gen 2 female MC, plain and simple, and as the first playable girl in the series she deserves far better than to be shafted away in favor of some overly cutesy replacement. She had that late 90s cool, just like Gold does. She's a far better girl for Gen 2.

Kids still play Pokemon? I thought the sales data showed that it was just people that got hooked when it first came out still buying them. X&Y sold the most to university students. I thought most kids were off playing cool games like CoD nowadays.
