Was pretty beastly last gen, what with his ability to remove weather. Slap Swords Dance, Outrage and V-Create on that thing and start sweeping.
Not so sure about this gen, as Fairies mean you can't go wantonly spamming Outrage anymore, and the new Rock-Fairy waifu looks to have him covered.

It's certainly viable, but low defenses and lack of good recovery hurts a bit.
I used a Choice Band set, thing was one of the best revenge killers in the meta.

For instance, an amazing movepool, an amazing coverage, an amazing and powerful STAB, the ability to kill all the ubers dragons, amazing (while not excellent) attack stats, the ability to go mixed.

Never said it wasn't. Just that it was a strong counter for Rayquaza. I don't have anything against Xerneas, but everything it can do can be done by another Uber much better, and I don't see why people continue to defend it.
