>>18591069It's a shit type for pokemon, yes. The moves are great, it's just not the best for the actual pokemon you're using. They have to be extremely pushed to see any kind of play at all. It's not just the fact that half of the decent fire types are 4x weak to stealth rocks, there's also the issue of most of the top threats every generation being strong offensively against them(water, as you said, being super ubiquitous among others.)
It's a shame because, again, the moves are GREAT. Just like the rock types, it's really the stats that are holding the actual pokemon back.
