Except Dupes Clause allows for a much wider variety of pokemanz. Extra lives pretty much means you aren't playing Nuzlockes anymore

If you don't use the dupes clause then you end up with a team full of nothing but the beginner bird and the beginner rodent, that's what it comes down to.

Also trying to come up with nicknames for more than one member of the same species is a chore.

Dupes clause is for casual faggots that probably go "self destructs dont count" and other such airy fairy horseshit.

They arent really taking part in the true challenge.
Its first poke you see per route. No master ball. Kill every legendary. No exceptions.
