New York, Texas, and California could be the starters
New York is a lot of forest with some big cities and industry so could be Grass/Steel
Texas is hot and full of angst, Fire/Fighting
And then California has lots of beaches and flamboyant males so Water/Fairy

Are we gonna become like PokeAus but instead PokeMurrica?
I like it. If people can come up with an idea for the starter designs, I could make a strawpoll out of it. New York one could be like a plant that grows more industrial? It's pretty vague but I have no idea for specifics. Texas could be a fire bull. California would be human like maybe. Anyone got any ideas?

I'd like a game with towns that you don't ever actually have to visit. Maybe make a region that has twelve or so gyms and you only need to beat eight of them to fight the e4. And a post game region that is entirely new.

Agreed. One of the things that I dislike about X/Y is that Kalos feels very small. This is probably a side effect of graphical style, but also because none of the towns/cities aside from Lumiose seem to have buildings with more than one story. I would love to see the next gen have big cities like Saffron and Goldenrod from the old days where you could wander in and out of high-rise buildings and meet all the people on each floor.

Hopefully Z will improve on the formula a bit. They had to put a lot of effort into making and animating all the pokemon models, but now they need to focus on the world and make it feel more expansive and alive. I'd be totally okay with a non-gym town or two in between leader battles. Have a villain team show up to cause trouble and that be all you do there. Maybe one that has a bunch of fun attractions/mini-games. Just give us something to extend the length of the main game a bit. We need more places to chill out in-game.

ok guys JFK Pokemon very very rough concept because I don't even really have an idea for how they both look... which I also need names for.
The line is an all male, humanoid Pokemon.
The first stage Poke is natural enemies with Sproink, Grumpig, and the Tepig line.
It seems to be found living with Gardevoir a lot in the wild.

The first stage resembles him somewhat somehow as the president and has a suit and a big grin and brownish fur on it's head.

The second stage is him dead and rotting with some of his bone showing with a third of his head a bloody mess (that spot is his weak point) and some blood on him he's a zombie.
His suit is all ripped up and it's like he dug himself out of his grave at Arlington years afterwards.
His charismatic grin has turned into an even bigger, evil grin with blood dripping from it.

First stage is normal/dark (Since there is a lot of baggage against him and the Kennedys like affairs and connection to the mafia and other shit like that, or he can just be normal and evolve like Eevee does and ditches his original typing all together. He maybe could be introduced to a bullet-shaped stone called the "Magic Bullet" which evolves him). Second is possibly ghost/dark.

That's all I have so far. Any move recommendations?

I think the reason other romhacks failed was because they were focused on too much at the same time. They were working on the dex, characters, plot, region, and other things all at once. I say that we should focus on creating the dex which as was previously said could be 3 stage lines for all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and DC as legendaries. We could vote on design ideas and typings. Should we make a new thread soley for this idea?

So these are, imo, the Pokemon that would be safari zone only.

Since we have Poke-Mexico there, that helps with a lot of the South American Pokemon.

America probably has more zoos than anywhere else in the world, though, so you could easily have multiple safari zones.
