I know Tyranitar is a monster and all, but MAerodactyl makes more sense.
And MPinsir at level 12/14 with ViceGrip would be a nightmare.

They should have done it similar to maison standards, you can only use three and can't switch out if they send in a new pokemon unless you do it on your turn.

Well, that's something you can do yourself if you really want to. That's why they made the Exp Share the way it is this gen, so you could modulate the difficulty on the fly.
