A little tip for those wanting to hunt fossils - In X and Y, if you try to ressurect a fossil while having a full team, said fossil is transferred to the boxes. Thus, the fastest way to hunt them is simply to get lots of their fossils (30 seems a good number, for those I've seen do it), save before resurrecting them, resurrect them all, check in the box, and reset if there's no shiny.
