You don't have to be like amazingly good looking, but try to be fit, clean and hygienic, and well dressed with the rest of the outfit.
As long as you're wearing a simple shirt with a pokeball or Bulbasaur on it or whatever, the most you'll get is "Is that a pokeball?" or "Hey! I remember that, pokemon right?" and pretty much no one else will even care.
