Stance change deoxys when?
>start in normal form

Not gonna happen because turn order would be extremely complicated. It works on Aegis because both stances have the exact same Speed.

They'd still hit you first since speed isn't taken into account on the turn a transformation is made.

You wouldn't outspeed next turn because when turn order is determined you'd be in defense form.

You'd need to already be in speed form when choosing your moves in order to outspeed.

I'm not OP. I just don't see why the turn based nature of the game should be an excuse for laziness. Either form changes shouldn't be prioritised, or they should become active immediately.

I agree that it'd be NICE to have it changed so turn order accounts for forme changes, but it really just doesn't fucking matter.

If turn order had an effect in the middle of the turn, it would also affect things like Swift Swim, Chlorophyll, and Paralysis, potentially causing even more problems

Because form changes have +6 priority.
The reason that matters is because quick claw/custap have +8 priority. If you both had a quick claw and both of your claws proc'd on the same turn, you'd attack before you changed forms and so they would need to calculate who goes first before you change forms.

If an absol mega evolves and uses pursuit on a pokemon switching out, the turn will look like this:

1) X, come back!
2) Absol's Absolite is reacting to Y's mega ring!
3) Absol has mega evolved into Mega Absol!
4) Absol used pursuit!
5) X takes damage and switches out

Also mega evolutions can't hold quick claws or berries so it's impossible to test what would happen there, but I'm pretty sure that if you gave aegislash either of those items, he'd stance change right before or after the activation message
