Pokémon Getto Da Ze! from Miho Asada.

It's 5 volumes, the first four have been released in Italy and France too.

It's a comedy series about inept Pokémon trainer Shu who owns an headphone built from his father that allows him to talk with his Pikachu.

If someone finds scans link them here please.

Volume 1
>Shu tries to catch a Caterpie by himself because Pikachu is an ass and doesn't want to help him. He disguises as a giant Caterpie and manages to catch the Caterpie, but a bunch of wild Pidgey tries to eat him. Pikachu saves his ass.
>Shu accedentally pisses off a wild Venusaur. Pikachu tries to fight it, but almost gets killed. Shu saves him and the Venusaur, touched from their friendship, lets them pass.
>Some jerk youngster named Tomio challenges Shu into who catches more Pokémon in 30 minutes (they're in a training park: you catch all the mons you want but at the end you release all of them). Shu helps a wounded male Nidoran in the process, and that Nidoran's whole family halps him into winning the challenge. Shu actually keeps that Nidoran
>Drought killed a lake. A girl named Ryuko needs her magic crystal to make rain again. She is actually a Dragonair in human form, and with the crystal (which is the ball under Dragonair's neck) she can make rain again.
>On the beach, a Wartortle is harassed from kids because it's a jerk. Shu helps it, but strands him on a deserted island because it's still a jerk. Pikachu gets on the island and Shu can catch Wartortle.
>Shu comes at Celadon University. The whole chapter is basically puzzles for children about Pokémon. Imakuni? makes a brief cameo. Then a Machamp breaks loose at the medicine faculty, but it's stopped by a special Magikarp who knows Dragon Rage. Shu is rewarded because it's because of him that Magikarp used that move again.
>A Hitmonlee goes around kicking people searching for someone on his level. Shu catches him.
>Shu fights a kendo guy and his Farfetch'd. He wins.
>Shu wants to catch a Poliwag, but until he's in water it's impossible to catch. He tries to get himon land by fishing, then they both fall in the river and Pikachu accidentally shocks both of them. At least he caught Poliwag.

Shu seems to be more based on anime Ash than Red.

The only other mangas like that are EToP and Ash and Pikachu

>Shu and Pikachu have issues and they separate. Brief flashback on how Shu caught Pikachu (he was stuck into a broken Poké Ball and kept throwing Thunderbolts from inside if that until Shu freed him). Then Shu finds Pikachu with another trainer. He gets back quickly after some issues.

Volume 2
>Shu catches a Ponyta offscreen.
>Shu catches a Zubat, then fights an egomaniac cowboy named Ken. He wins and gets Ken's official cosplay set+autograph (Shu asks himself "Why the hell I'd need this stuff?")
>Shu tries to catch a Bellsprout. He builds a Pokéball minefield because he can't approach to it otherwise without getting spores on his face. He catches it.
>Shu meets Masatoshi, a greedy comedian guy who owns a shamisen-playing Meowth and can talk to Meowth when wearing a cat hood. He loses after Shu accidentally makes a pun and that distracts him.

>In the middle of an hurricane, a daredevil Weedle saves Shu and Pikachu when stranded on an abandoned piano in the middle of a river by calling a bunch of Beedrills to save them. Weedle goes with them.
>Second appearance of Rin and Ran, they and Shu are all trying to catch a Parasect. Shu lets Ran catch it after Rin's Jigglypuff reveals to Pikachu that they need Parasect's shroom to save their ill father.
>Shu finds hot springs on a mountain where wounded wild Pokémon go to heal their wounds. Some dude named Yuta wants to catch every Pokémon in the springs. Diglett's Earthquake creates a lava pool where Yuta's Magmar wants to stay, so everything it's ok. Except that Magmar wants everyone in the lava pool with him.
>A wild Slowbro who hates humankind steals Shu's In-Com so he can't talk with Pikachu. He changes his mind and everything it's OK. The whole chapter is narrated in Slowbro's POV.
>Shu hates passing Christmas away from his family, and Pikachu makes a giant Christmas tree with wild Pokémon to make him happy.
>Shu tries to catch Articuno. He fails, but as every other wild Pokémon Shu can't catch he appreciates the bond between him and Pikachu.
>An Oddish eats Shu and Pikachu's food. After a fight with Oddish's trainer (a Detective Conan lookalike), he gets an Oddish. That kid had thoudsands of them, so he gaves them around a lot.
>Shu's mons have a discussion on who's the strongest while trying to catch a Slowpoke. Since Slowpoke is slow, Shu believes that he was the one who knocked it out, but Pikachu can't say him the truth.
>Shu joins a photography contest and wins with a photo of baby Pidgeys hatching from their eggs.
>A guy named Shinji is mad with Shu because he accidentally stepped on his face breaking his nose, so Shu's nose must be broken too. he manages to do it. Then Shinji chips his tooth and wants to chip Shu's tooth.

Volume 3 (starting from here, some chapters are signed as *s* because feature Shu in sleeveless shirt, shorts and sneakers rather than the usual jacket-jeans-boots attire he wore until now)
>Shu and Pikachu get lost in the woods and meet a guy named Rei who owns a Gengar. It turns out that Rei is a ghost too.
>*s* Shu arrives in the Dream Woods, where a wild Hypno puts people to sleep and tests their abilities by invading their dreams. Shu passes the test when he have to recognize his Pikachu from the illusionary one.
>Shu catches a Shellder in order to make his Slowpoke evolve and fails, but then haves to help a Charmander who lost his trainer after she went at Cianwood Island.
>After arriving at Cianwood Island, Shu finds every trainer and Pokémon brainwashed. It was an Alakazam's fault. Shu catches Alakazam and Charmander reunites with his trainer.
>*s* Shu sees for the first time many Johto Pokémon in Cianwood and gets in trouble with a savage guy in a natural reserve.
>*s* Shu finds himself in a dance contest against Kimono Girl Mikuri and her Bellossom crew. Pikachu does epic coreography with Double Team and Shu becomes Mikuri's slave.
>*s* Shu fights the Turtle Brothers, Mikuri's bodyguards who want her to go back at home. Pikachu OTKs them.
> Shu and Mikuri are stopped by a wild Heracross. Shu tries to catch it, then Mikuri catches it and runs away.
> Pikachu gets in love with a female Pikachu whose trainer is a twit and slams Shu away with his Donphan. Shu's dad stalks him.
>At Olivine City, Shu fights a guardsman who actually his is father in disguise to go in the town. He wins and gets a Pokégear.

>Shu haves to pass through mountains where a very aggressive Ursaring. He catches it while escaping, but at the end he wanted to eat Shu's berries, not him.
>Shu finds a mysterious egg, and a Super Nerd tries to get it. It contained a Lugia plush doll.
>*s* Shu trains a Tyrogue who was rejected from a fighting dojo for being too weak. It evolves into Hitmontop and Triple Kicks everyone's ass.
>Shu meets Nagi, who basically is Paul from the D/P Anime with Chikorita and Charizard instead of Chimchar and Torterra. He also owns Articuno.
>Shu is still mad with Nagi for the way he treats his Chikorita, so he challenges him. It's an hard battle (Nagi uses Larvitar against his Pikachu) but Shu wins.
>Shu finds a Chinchou under the sea and tries to catch him in the weirdest way possible (encased in a hollow block of ice in order to breathe underwater, with modified Poké Balls that work as tiny submarines)
>Shu brings a bunch of Pokémon eggs from their parents, but they hatch midway. One of the newborns, a Smoochum, gets lost. They save her.
>A Porygon 2 traps Pikachu in an arcade game at the Goldenrod Casino. He's freed before he could die.

Volume 5
This volume was never released in Italy. The only things I know is that Shu catches an Houndour and fights against Lugia.
