The XY trailer was okay because they actually had gameplay improvements to show off, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the lack of an animu trailer

I was confused. They somehow made me way for hyped for Black and White 2, which, while a great game, didn't have all that much new content aside from the story.

That trailer had Nate in the story-critical scenes, so it can be assumed that Rosa in that trailer was the Rosa you meet at the Battle Subway. Since she's not from Aspertia, that probably wasn't her first gym battle and so Cheren used stronger Pokemon against her.

Okay yes kind of, but it wasn't the same crazy hype machine. It just sort of alluded to the Pokemon Amie benefits and showed off mega evolution.

It's likely that the plot wasn't finalized until late in the development of X and Y. By that point, there probably wasn't enough time to make a polished animu trailer.

What the hell, Nate, Clay would fuck him up. Nate's still cool though.

Anyways, I fucking loved this trailer, it... actually got me hyped for these games. I sometimes imagine what'd be like if they actually fully animated the actual Black 2 or White 2 story. It'd be a hell of a lot better than the mess that the Team Plasma arc of the actual anime was. Plus, if they fully adapted Black 2 / White 2 into an anime, romantic subplot between Nate and Yancy when?
