I actually really like his unique ability. I've used Rock Head Aggron before, it's not that exciting.

I wish they had given us a new biting move or two this gen though. maybe even a signature move Tyrantrum could learn maybe "Dragon Chomp" or something, Dragon, 60 bp 20% flinch chance, always results in a crit.

I use one in doubles. Mat Block Greninja lets you set up DD, the rock slide or fire fang everything. Protect saves you from Greninjas surf

Doesn't Mat Block only block multi target attacks? If someone just use one of the thousand single target moves Tyrantrum is weak to it will most likely die. And its not like Mat Block Greninja is uncommon.

Mat Block blocks against single target moves as well, your thinking of wide guard. Mat Block's only failing is the lack of priority iirc.

Strong jaw, ice fang, thunder fang, earthquake, and crunch/poison fang work well with him. These give him a lot of coverage and his ability boosts them. some good items are life orb, or an expert belt.

MegAggron's a beast though. It just needs recovery and it's a top-teir physical wall.

I run DD/EQ/Crunch/Stone Edge

I use Scolipede to baton pass him speed and attack, but in case scolipede gets ko'd early, he carries DD.

mixed results. sometimes good, sometimes bad.

I mean, I know he has some semi-cripplig weaknesses,but he also has a fuckload of resistances as well. I figure that he could hit like a truck, but people are just so hesitant to use him because of his two weaknesses

T Rex over here could be Dragon/Rock, fine, sure. I would prefer pure Dragon but well Dragon/Rock is interesting type combo.

HOWEVER, that other one could've done well to be Ice/DRAGON. How about "ice age" fossil mons get Ice type instead of the typical Rock? Would work wonders for it defensively.

Tyrantrum NEEDS Dragon Dance to be remotely usable, and then it NEEDS Head Smash (regardless of ability) to differentiate itself from DD Tyranitar.

I use it anyway though because I unironically love its design.
