Anyway, he actually does way more than that. He changes the selection of each area to have Pokemon suited to it, as well as editing the level that wild Pokemon will be found there. He also adds different events and trainers, like the Hoenn Gym Leaders in different cities of Unova. Sacred Gold/Storm Silver also had different events and text in different place--notably,
Giovanni shows up at the Rocket Radio Tower event, though I wasn't pleased with this decision.
This is a fuckton of hex editing. There are tools to make it easier, but for some of this shit there are no tools for.
