I know it obviously hasn't been that long since X and Y came out, but just watching this video gives me a sense of nostalgia. I just remember seeing reveals like this and just getting so hyped and excited to buy this game. Like, from the moment the starters were revealed, I could not fucking contain myself for the next generation, and each new revelation just got me more built up.
Now I look at my three boxes of 5IV battle-trained pokemon, and while it makes me pretty happy, I almost miss that sense of anticipation and excitement the game brought for almost an entire year before it even came out.
