Perhaps Magnezone can only hover so far above the ground via magnetism, OP.

That said, Sky Battles are shit. I've only fought a few of them the entire time due to only having one flying type in my party my entire play through (a fletching that I refused to evolve)

After doing a few post-game, can't say I was missing out on much.

Yeah, let's base an entire style of battling on whether or not the Pokemon is standing on the ground. Hopefully they remove it completely in Z, Rotation/Triple already outstayed their welcome we don't need more shit cluttering up the games.

Sky battles really should have had some extra gimmick attached to them, like elevation changing before an attack or maneuvers or something similar that affected your attacks.

Ice so good specifically because it can take on Avalugg, the premier physical wall in the tier. Of course they'll just switch to Chansey, because ChanLugg makes gen 3 Skarmbliss look like shit. Physical attacks just don't work on Avalugg, he'd be good if he had a better typing.
