This is not a jab, but a criticism.
In most digimon media I've seen a digimon only has a set of attacks and has to digivolve or change formes to get different attacks, while in pokemon a raichu could be physical life orb, a sub puncher, a special sweeper, a special berry, or even mixed.
I say most since in digimon world you could change three attacks, but those were limited and the finisher was always beyond your control.
