so GBA VC is coming next week to WiiU. I know it's not going to happen, but how many of you would buy the GBA Pokemon games again despite not being able to trade or transfer?

I was under the impression that the Pokemon games wouldn't come to VC Wii U, since they didn't come to VC DS either. Would love if they came to 3DS VC though, perhaps there could even be some trade functionality between them AND 4th gen transferring.

Ok, hear me out!

Right before heart gold and soul silver were announced, nintendo announced that gameboy games were coming to the dsi eshop. Everyone got hype for pokemon gold and silver, but it never came.

NOW nintendo confirms GBA games on the next console eshop. Probably not gonna include gen 3 games either. This might also be the same way they're leading up to a gen 3 remake. If anyone remembers the exact dates of the announcement/releases we might be able to predict when it should come out.

If we're talking VC here, I was thinking about this the other day:

Why not make an official VC for smart phones? I know most people emulate them, but there's definitely a market for people who would pay to have an official smart phone copy.

The VC is being handled pretty ok in Japan, though. Generally two games a week on the 3DS VC and 3 games a week on the WiiU VC.
