A purple-yellow bipedal Pokemon standing 1.4 meters tall and weighing 312.5 lbs. Males secrete a highly caustic fluid from their knuckles, jaws and back. Females sport holes in their forehead and hands from which this fluid is sprayed. Slightly hunched over, they move with a brisk pace, but are unbalanced. The skin is hard and textured like pumice, and both genders display pieces of armor made from a hardening variant of the fluid. They inhabit the insides of forest mountains, feeding on a mixture of tree bark and dissolved stone.

It uses telekinesis to burrow in mountains. Possessing no eyes, this Pokemon makes up for it by using telepathic fields to sense its surroundings. It and Corrozo are fierce rivals, as Telepedes often attempt to steal Corrozo eggs. Telepedes have a limited sense of foresight, and are often seen with disaster teams and meteorologists, using this talent to predict weather patterns.
