Given the availability of moves, abilities, and so on, which Gen 3 Kanto Pokemon could you transfer to Gen 6 that would still be competitively viable today?
For example, Charizard doesn't need egg moves or its Hidden Ability to be a good MegaZard Y or bulky MegaZardX, so he's in.
Dragonite cannot get Multiscale before Gen 5 (and Ability Capsule doesn't work with Hidden Abilities), so he's out.
