I dunno I tried watching it again on netflix...

it hasn't aged well in comparison to the indigo league.

I remember loving the digimon anime far, far more and waiting with bated breath for the new episodes... but yeah.

Lets be honest, neither aged well. Though I found Digimon actually got better as it went along. The 1st couple episodes are certainly clunky but about the time the Etemon arc kicked in it got way better.
