I've got a question /vp/.

My brother let some dude borrow his 3DS a while, and as expected, he hasn't given it back and we don't know where the faggot is. He wanted to register his 3ds & my SM3DL game so that he could download Pokemon X free from club Nintendo since i have Y version, but i don't think he'll be able to get his 3ds back before the time's up.
So the thing is, i was wondering if it was possible to simply Download X from MY 3ds onto a new SD card and simply give the card to him once (IF) he get's his 3DS back. Am i able to do this without any drawbacks? I haven't downloaded games from the eShop before, so i don't know if it locks the game down to the system or something.
