Now that the dust has settled, we all agree that this gen is the worst?

>no postgame
>gamebreaking bugs on release day

>megas, the fastest way to jump the shark

I've skipped Gen 4 and 5 entirely, I just got a cart, loaded it with mons and wasted 500+ hrs battling local friends only.
Any change in the metagame even if is little affect most pokemon gameplay, so why bother with the story when this is a multiplayer game?

Yeah I think digivolving is pretty gay and the ultimate forms are overdesigned and shit. Used to it now though and hey it adds depth to the gameplay.

Online is the best it's ever been and 6v6 would be a nice addition but it doesn't really matter

Because most of my bros have physical game and we all concur that simulators dont have 1:1 damage formula.
Also, how will you be playing multi-battles at a "party" with laptops instead of just the 3ds?
300+hrs per generation at $40 is pretty neat if you ask me.

Comparing B/W's story to basically any other RPG, it's still uninteresting and mediocre at best. But compared to the rest of the series, it was more interesting than anything that had come before (with the exception of maybe Colosseum).

This. Also the whole 3D style just sucks, they should have used Colosseum/XD style for 3D.
Everything is too easy and getting a mega Lucario makes it even more shit, because it's forced as part of the story.
