Anyone here have experience with shiny RNG abusing for this case?

me too, but you know, I really like having something else to focus on at the beginning of the hunt, and it gives me more satisfaction to know i'm breeding the best possible pokemon. The only problem is that I now intensely regret that the first two shinies I MM'd weren't competitive at all. Then again, I guess they weren't very good competitive pokemon anyway

I found it much faster to fill boxes and do a mass hatching. the time really adds up when you aren't flying every 5 eggs. I also don't deposit my eggs in the box until the first egg in the next batch is ready, I finish off a ton of eggs that way

I usually do that during the week when I have to take the bus to and from Uni, to help hatch the most efficient number of eggs, but during the weekend I like to collect boxes so I can just let my game run while I do other things. I've been trying out a new method where after every batch of 5 eggs I hatch, I go back to the daycare to collect 1 egg, to not miss any eggs genned, but I'm just gonna let the game run this time!

Yeah, I did the battling thing at Katsucon to see how it went. I had a surprisingly large turn out. Had to resort to breeding things that day in order to get people prizes.

For Otakon, though, I'm planning to do a female Chesnaught Gijinka on Friday, possibly something League related on Saturday with a friend, and then Silver on Sunday. I just wanna get in shape so I don't feel embarrased that I'm exposing any skin that weekend, since the Chesnaught Gijinka does show off quite a bit of skin...

And I know that feeling. I currently feel so gross in my skin, but, judging by how it went last time I tried working out and losing weight, I should be able to manage losing enough by August!

I support this idea.

this is my first time actually sticking to a diet and exercise. I messed my back up some years ago and couldnt walk more than 10 minutes without being in pain.
This time though, after one week on a diet, i walked 6 miles, non stop, and no pain.
So I am going to kick my ass into gear while I can. (been going almost a month now).

I lost a lost a scary amount in the first week but I got sick with flu for 3 days too.
I did 3 weeks of a low carb diet (keeping below 20g carbs. difficult.)

Now doing that 5:2 diet thing. eat normally for 5 days, and for two non consecutive days stay under 600 calories. (500 for women).

Guys, I've been playing Pokemon seriously since Ruby/Sapphire. I've play each game two or three times each, and I always post-quest the shit out of one game from each generation. I've had to encounter more then 8000 pokemon. Hell, I wouldn't doubt 10000, 20000, even 30000 pokemon.

I have NEVER, EVER encountered a shiny. Both attempting to and just playing the game. I have shinies from trading and my young'n days with an action replay but I have yet to ever encounter one in 11 years. Am I cursed? Is there hope for me?

I've had a helluva week. I finally got a job, so my spare time for hunting suddenly ran out. It's been hard.

I think my issue is that the start to X/Y is really slow. I lose interest fast. I got my data corrupted and haven't played since. I've picked up other games though. I 100%'d Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, near completed Super Mario 3D World, finished LoZ:WWHD, near finished with Persona 3 Portable, finished Pikmin 3, started Earthbound, and the list goes on. I don't think thats too interesting though. Maybe I'll try to power through X again soon.

Also if you tip NPCs it apparently raises your chances. That's what I did before I got my lampent (mind you it still took me a few hours)
