Thanks, anons. I always wanted a Typhlosion to snuggle with back in Gold, but I was so bad when I started playing that I kept getting getting game over and switching starters until a Chicorita got me through the first stretch of the game... I haven't restarted again to keep the memories alive, but now that X/Y are a thing, I have a chance of trading for a Cyndaquil and living my old dreams, and that makes me happy.
