The Poke Transfer doesn't seem to check for ball legality. While genning for plenty of people they would ask for Luxury ball Dream Radar Legends and it would allow all of them to pass through.

It only checks for ball legality if the pokemon has egg moves. Otherwise anything goes (besides cherish balls)
