What the fuck are you talking about, buddy? If you killed something with Hyper Beam in gen1, you didn't have to recharge.

That "hyper beam on everything it's the best move ok?" picture is pretty damn accurate.

Even on Articuno and Moltres it's rather a gimmick. There are so many pokemon that have Hyper Beam as a staple move, yet whoever drew this really picked the worst examples.
