What was the story for X again?

I kind of felt the story for Y made more sense, what with the soul reaper getting rid of everything "not beautiful" so there was reason you should join Team Flare. Join Team Flare or die. Was Xerneas only supposed to keep the "beautiful" people immortal in the X story?

It's pretty obvious I picked Y because I only know fractions of the story for X. I mainly picked it for Tyranitar and because I like the design of Yvertal. Absurd demon bird.

I picked Y, for the legendary mostly. That's the main reason I choose versions anyway, unless the cruddier legendary has better exclusives or location changes.

However, I should have done my homework before because I prefer Xerneas in the end. Also, Charizard X look at least completely different than the normal one (even if Char Y is no pushover).

If they buffed ice, we all know it's shit, then the meta would be in fair balance. But instead Ice is unchanged and GF adds a type with broken as shit match-ups and a shitty name that can easily be swapped to light. Every Fairy type currently existing would make sense as a Light type and there are several concepts that work as Light, but not fairy.

Geewunner mostly mean "hate everything new", but watever.

"Light" instead of "Fairy". Kinda make sense, but the whole strenght and weaknesses of the type would have been different as well. Dragon would still be über, and Dark would had one more weakness for example.

Why the fuck else would you choose a game? Version exclusives can be bred and traded. Legends are one-off, and locations are permanent (except in the case of BW2). So, when it comes to games that have no location changes (XY) the cover legend is the best way to differentiate.
