Male trainer designs are always the same "kid with cap, bag and probably jeans" deal, while the actual variety only goes to the female ones, which is a shame. I really like Red for how iconic he is, though.

Nate's hair can go to hell, though. I picked Rosa and never looked back even once.

The original Ethan design. Not HG/SS, they made him way too cutesy and got rid of his badass shorts.

Every male trainer since Gen 2 has looked fucking dumb. The design team is so one-sided towards the girl characters it's not even funny.
