All of these options are shit. Dragon Tail is the only one that even does damage, but it doesn't do as much damage as Outrage or Dragon Pulse.

Baton Pass is also shit for the same reasons. Why would anyone waste several turns not doing damage while your opponent could be using Fire Blast, Hyper Beam or Thunder?

There are a couple of viable instawin cards against Baton Pass. They're not 100% foolproof strategy but it should work most of the time if you play it smart. (By viable I mean they're not just niche shit made to counter BP; it actually has uses outside of that).
Haze Quag is one. Taunt Thundurus, specially TauntNP and SubTaunt. Taunt Talonflame (watch out for Zapdos). Calm Mind Unaware Clefable (sets up before bp does). Stray Destiny Bond users do the job too, but play them smart.
There's also some set up sweepers that can wreck BP, most notably Volcarona and Pinsir. Mawile can work but it struggles against Scolipede.
It should be noted that in order for these to work you need Smeargle either dead or have something sleeping in your team. Else it's not gonna work.

I hate to break it to you but the "official" game is even more broken and shitty than Smogon's. Without tiers you've only got one metagame to work with, and without bans that metagame is even more centralized around a few top-tier threats than Smogon OU.

Yes, Swagplay was a dumb ban. Yes, BP will be a dumb ban if they do it. But the official metagame is shitty for a whole host of different reasons, so let's not pretend that the option of playing by smogon's ruleset - even if some of them are dumb - is in inherently worse.

i know it gets rid of your own boost but if you've been boosting the whole time your opponent has, you're both retarded

and also, dragalge is a fantastic user of haze. Dragon/Poison has surprisingly good defenses, he packs huge special defense (his def + hp are lacking but not horrible), and he resist a lot of common attacks. He doesn't like EQ much, but with haze he is very effective at removing boost.

He's not the only one, Cofagrigus can also learn Haze and put it to good effect (although will o wisp is superior in most other situations, since we are talking about BP teams will-o-wisp is not an option). Nice solid physical defense and can take a hit (not to mention contact will remove the opponents helpful ability), so he's always a viable option.

Also what some people fail to mention is that most BP teams just pass to a clefable with magic guard and that only knows stored power for an attack, which is stopped dead by literally ANY dark type.

Also, you hit it right on the head. This is the only reason so many butt mad smogonites are getting crushed. They really do focus on entry hazards and spamming talonflame that they have no mind for doing anything else, and when that doesn't get them their calculated chance to win, they get butt mad.

They can never look at a game and say "oh I lost because I'm bad" or "I made a mistake, that was so stupid of me!" It's always "oh it's because this pokemon is completely broken and IMPOSSIBLE to stop!" or something along those lines. If smogon spent more time coming up with actual strategies (like they are supposed to) instead of lazily coming up with the same teams and banning everything that beats it, I would be a much bigger fan of the site. Unfortunately they are lazy, incompetent, and comprised of a fan base of 12 year olds.
