>>18717680I too had 999 hours. Myself and my brother had Sapphire and Ruby respectively, and friends from my primary school (I'd moved on to secondary by that point) who I'd grown up playing the gen I and II games also had R/S. Even though I didn't see them all that often, I managed to get all their secret bases and battled and traded with them whenever I could. Not knowing about shit like serebii, I actually explored the games, beating the elite 4 100+ times, actually discovering rayquaza for myself in Sapphire (I was so fucking excited, it was the coolest shit ever and to date my favorite pokemon). I played the game while doing everything else. I am not ashamed to say I did fall for the jirachi mossdeep shuttle trick when I did briefly google 'pokemon sapphire cheats' but I don't regret it. To this day that white stone still holds a bit of mystery for me, and I hope that if they remake the games they include it as a Jirachi event.
