Ever since I discovered this fucker I've been in love with it. Boost and baton pass with Speed Boost or boost and sweep with Swarm (or use Speed Boost here too, because sanic buge). A pretty great physical movepool adds to the appeal, and the great design (IMO) is icing on the cake.

Runner up: Galvantula. Most adorable mon ever evolves into a badass electric spider that's a pretty good special sweeper? Sign me up.

Feraligatr. I have many Pokebros, but Faraligatr will always be my number one.

The scizor line have been my favorites for as long as I can remember. Scyther was the first pokemon I ever saw that had false swipe and it helped me catch most of my pokedex at the time and that made me really like it because it was less risky as leech seed or poison to catch certain pokemon.

Scizor's the first pokemon I breed competitively and it's been a bad ass for as long as I can remember. They both have great designs and can dish out a lot of hurt to opponents. I've tried to have one of them on my team when ever I can have them and I'm glad it got a mega evolution.

Charizard was my 1st starter
Blaziken was my 1st level 100
But torterra has come from my favorite game and Gen plus bad ass
He has Unique Type combination he is the same species as groudon
Hes is the heaviest and Slowest of all the starters
i hope when(if) he gets a Mega should have multiscale or make him grass steel

back in a time when i never knew what smogon was,,or what base stats were and no wi-fi battles. back in a time where, if a pokemon looked cool or interesting to me, it went on my team.
not alot of pokemon knew crunch back in gen 2, so when this nigga learned it, and seeing crunch's animation for the first time, i knew girafarig would make a spot on my team.

Mix of design, premise and background did it for me.

And, since XY, he has a sympathy boost in acquiring an underdog status of sorts, as family retcons left him behind in usefulness and he became something of a GameFreak's bitch.

Because of its simplistic, chubby and adorable design, useful abilities, only one weakness to one of the least offensive types, potentially two immunities, decent bulk and physical attack with STAB earthquake...

Bottom team consists of most of my favorites. My other favorite two not seen are drapion and heracross.

All of the prevos will evolve minus tangela. I run him with evolite.

The other ones in the box are some of my favorites also.

I made a lot of pokebros but let them all down... My most treasured bro is probably Bagon lvl 100, I left him in the daycare in Ruby as a kid and returned almost 7 years later to find all this time I had forgotten. He's like the Salamence that never could... So I now really love Salamence, I have an child like autistic attachment to this Pokemon, it's like I'm Ash to Charizard kind of feeling and it's actually great in battle.

I know :| I used to love Salamence when I was a kid, wish I still did. Back then I would have gone crazy for Tynrantrum or whatever, but now it's not not my kind of pokemon. Salamence is still emotionally my bro, MY BABY regardless of how it looks.

(tyranitar has only gotten cool, I cherished mine back in FR/LG because all my friends didn't know where to find then. Miss those days before we knew about EV's, Serebii, Smogon etc...

I don't read Smogon, I'm done with all that. From now on, I have a tablet and a 3ds. I'm only going on Serebii to look at stats and make my own moveset. I wish I could remember back then, it all seems like a blur playing gens 1-3. I never grew attached to a single Pokemon back then, I used to restart the game a lot and play every starter, different teams...
