How DO we make him better? IIRC he got a BST buff this gen and even then he's still a shit.

Noctowl could use a buff too. Swellow, Staraptor, and Talonflame all have their niches. Unfezant has the stats but just needs a wider movepool.

Also, I never realized how bulky Noctowl is. It helped me win a game today because it was able to roost stall and kill a lumineon with Night Shade and Mega Gengar got rekt by Night Shade
