You know how certain Pokémon burn/freeze you if you touch them in certain places in Pokémon-Amie (Like touching Aurorus's diamonds freezes your hand)? If you get their happiness and trust and all that high enough, does it cease to hurt you, like in the anime?

What would you do with a pokemon with unimpressive offensive stats, shit speed, and not enough bulk to make up for the fact that it takes 4x damage to two relatively common types, and is weak to 1/3 of the types in the game?

It is too slow to do shit, and is typed such that most offensive pokemon are going to be running something that can take it out. You could run it in Trick Room, but its offenses aren't good enough to justify that. It's ability could have been interesting, but it doesn't get anything worth running to take advantage of it.

Just because you can beat someone who doesn't know how to play doesn't make the Pokemon less shitty. There's no way around the fact that it has sub-optimal stats and typing.

I run Pokemon that aren't standard, too, but Pokemon that actually can bring something to my team that sets them apart form better, more commonly used Pokemon. What does Aurorus have going for it?
