Is really Tyanitar that good?

He is my fav competitive pkmn but with every gen it just fall more and more in disgrace.
I even play a mostly 4 UU, Scizor and him but im starting to look at tyranitar like the weakest link in my team...
Its sad, but maybe the current meta isnt a place for Tyanitar.
