You simply look behind, talk to your pokemon, and whoop dee fucking doo, camera zooms in and you're playing with it and petting it, wherever it is you are instead of teleporting to "rainbowland".
But no. They just had to make it its whole separate apparatus.
Same shit with super training, though to a lesser degree. It would have been cool if it was an actual place you can leave your pokemon in to train a set of skills. Maybe as an extension to the Day Care.
