Luckily, every single Fairy that is currently out there, save for Xerneas, Togekiss, Sylveon, and Azumarill is absolute dog shit. Mainly because they have shitty BSTS or just in general don't have the power to truly abuse the typing.
It should be nerfed next generation, dropping its resistance to fighting types, and then granting the typing to Pokemon with better BSTS.
Think about it like this:
Water resists 4 types, but is only weak to two, one of which is a shitty attacking type.
Fairy resists 3 types and has an immunity to one, one of the single best typing in the game. Meanwhile, is weak to two types, Steel and Poison, two of the absolute most uncommon offensive types ever.
They really fucked up the balancing with fairy types, the typing itself is extremely overpowered.
