I am not that far into the game yet. My autism is making me complete each level, or atleast get an S on each before proceeding.
I already got an S in the first zone, and all S but one level in zone 2.

How to get an S:
1) Make a massive chain
That's pretty much it. I've gotten B ranks with perfect health remaining and S ranks on a sliver of health and making a fuckhuge chain (like 60-70+) seems to be the only thing that matters

to be specific, I did an 87 combo with 5 or 6 groudons on pikachu/pichu (the first fight) in 1-06, and it still skipped dedenne

The game is similar to candy crush, and even though people would play it on smartphones, if they can convince people who have a 3DS already (which is a literal shit ton of people) they can continue making money in their own little bubble.

I think my record combo is like 30
Completing a box is almost luck based when you're left with odds and ends at the end.

You need to start planning ahead as soon as you can see every pokemon, match evens in even sets, match odds in odd sets, use dittos well, they can hurt and help you
My max is only 87, which was 8 box clears in a row, but whenever I fail to clear a box it's because I fucked up and missed a ditto or something. This game has a lot of skill when you git gud
