While I haven't played much of this gen competitively, it seems like this gen has some good variety. Sure it seems like every team has rotom/aegislash/talonflame, but there are also pokemon I'd never think I'd see in OU, like trevenant, bisharp, mandibuzz, galvantula. And also megas make plenty of shit NU pokemon usable.
Then again, like I said, I haven't really PLAYED it much so maybe it's shit, I just like the sound of rapid spin not being the only way to get rid or rocks now
