What's your opinion on the updated cries for gen 6?

Overall they're mixed to me. I like some like Psyduck's, but the Bagon evolutions got screwed over.

I like Pikachu's cry, because it's a nice callback to Pokemon Yellow when they had Pikachu's anime cry.

I hate it because it feels so out of place with the old-school cries on everything else. I don't really mind the updated cries on other things, because I hadn't played pokemon since B/W and pretty much forgot what they sounded like.

I really don't like them, but I won't fight against them that hard.
I always liked that GF stuck with the older cries even as audio technology improved, because, fuck you, those are just the sounds that those Pokémon make, and they've always made them. I admired their consistency.
