>decide to help him out
>throw up my spare groudon
>accept for his pikachu
>look on his face is priceless when he see the trade go through
>decide to give him a few more legends
>kid is ecstatic over these trades
>shouting happily and shoving his 3DS in parents face to show them what he just got
>kid still doesnt know it was me
>family gets up to leave later
>before they walk out the door i shout to the kid
"hey thanks for the pikachu, ill be sure to take good care of it"
His facial reaction was hilarious. made my otherwise shitty day much better.
