Breeding questions

Just got my Ditto safari, and I'm ready to start breeding, but I have a few questions first.

-Is it recommended to breed the Dittos with eachother to make one Ditto with a shit-ton of IVs and breed from that?

-Is inbreeding possible (child/parent)? Is there any downside to doing this besides the downs?

-Once I hit perfect IVs, can I just Super Train for EVs?

To answer your other questions, yes you can breed parents with children

And yes, super training EV's offices the same result as traditional EV training. It's just a way bigger pain in the ass.

You can't breed ditto together.

Yes, Pokemon aren't related. No risk of downs.

Uh yeah? You can super train for EVs anytime you want. You don't need perfect IVs for it. Unless I just read your question wrong. Though horde battles are faster.

Thanks for these answers as well. Out of curiosity, what's the traditional way to train EVs? I really don't know any of this stuff.

I had meant to word that as asking if there was an alternate or better way to train EVs, but I guess words didn't work right there. Are hordes better for a specific reason (specialized for one EV or something) or just because there's five foes at once to grind with?

By traditional I meant just fighting pokemon that yield the EV's you want.

The reason I say super training is such a pain is because horde battles + power items like the power anklet are so fast it's ridiculous

Horde battles with Pokerus and power items or macho brace is the quickest for breeding

Horde + Pokerus + Macho Brace = 20 IV from one battle

Horde + Pokerus + Power Item = 40 IV from one battle (I think)

Read this for where to find certain hordes. Sweet scent triggers a horde in grass.

Yes, 5 to grind at once. Power items will also give the extra 4 EV's for each pokemon, meaning 25 ev's per battle.

Combine that with a move that faints them all in the first turn like surf, and there's no reason not to do horde battles
