Arash team had the advantage by a LOT. Arash's key mons for this game were Scarf Mamo and Amoongus. If Ryu sets up TR, Amoongus can disable Conk and Heatran with Spore and smash Ryu since Cress doesn't have offensive presence and Lando is stopped by Mamoswine.
Ryu's only shot at winning was intimidating Mamo so Heatran can fire off a Fire Gem Heat Wave. His Heatran Spread could survive the hit but he didn't know at the time. He also played horribly because he was pressured to predictdue to shit macht-up.
On the VGC topic, that guy is fuckin wrong, everything in doubles is much less broken because you can always double team on a threat or you can play around it by protecting and chippin off his health. Even shit like M-Kangha is fine, top tier, but not broken.
