I got pokemon X when it came out, and I just can't bring myself to sit down and enjoy it for very long. I'm still only 6 badges in, I have no idea who or what anything is called by memory, or why I should even care. That said, I think it's an awesome game. I really have almost nothing negative to say about it except for the annoying kids that follow you around everywhere, and that's a nitpick.
By all rights, this is technically one of the best pokemon games I have ever played, but I don't feel like the size and scope of the game is that grand. Even if the maps in previous generations were smaller, they left a lot more open to the imagination. I don't know if that has anything to do with the jump to 3D or not, but I'm just not having as much fun with 6th gen. Does anybody else have trouble just wanting to play the game again after you set it down?
