I use them to get Rare Candies. Mostly, its easier to get them from Wonder Trading. Im honestly thinking of turning off Streetpass for Pokemon Y because there's literally no point. I get maybe 3 Pokemiles a week when I could get 300 in like 5 minutes.

that's the whole point i can just avoid having to switch out my party, go to the beach, pull of my rod and fish, thief a scale, take off the scale and then repeat. sure its easy but its more time consuming
