Question. With FireRed/LeafGreen retardedly expensive for GBA games, is there ANY WAY to get some of the older pokemon from them to Pokemon X/Y and a 3DS using a genuine R4 and a DS Phat?

Or am I gonna require a copy Black/White to manage it? (I'm assuming I can do HG/SS to B/W, and then B/W to Poke Bank/Transporter?)
