Again, even without ANY boost to the special defense, you can't even OHKO it. At 252 neutral Sp.Def, you're working with a 3HKO. Sure, you're going to take it down, but you're not only going to reveal what moveset for whatever Pokemon you're using, but you're going to waste a few turns doing it... Turns that could be protected against or used with passive damage to stall with Softboiled.
