/vp/, am I the only one who thinks Mega Evolutions should only be given to Pokemon who already have 3 stages? (Charizard, Blaziken, etc.) While other Pokemon (Mawile, Banette, etc.) Just get a standard evolution? Like Yanmega or Dusknoir?

tl;dr Why aren't 3 stage Pokemon the only ones getting Mega Evolutions and everyone else who needs it getting a standard evolution?

Thoughts?
