The number of Pokemon that can learn Swagger is the same as the number of Pokemon that can learn Double Team.
I too want to see Pinsir, Volcanrona, Dragonite, Charizard, and Talonflame useage to double so Delibird has an easier time setting up.

Why is it such a big deal? Smogon isn't the be all end all authority behind the meta, though they do provide some decent strategies.

Because GF doesn't really care about the metagame save for a small timeframe for VGC.

Its more important to them to ensure sales than a balance meta.

well considering the only paying tournaments are doubles and smogon mostly rules over 6v6 singles, i'd say they stopped being the authority 2 gens ago

I hope that anyone defending the use of Swagger just stops playing competative pokemon. It is a shitty strategy at best and the players who use it shoudln't be playing competative IMO. Go play DotA instead.
