>>18773725It's like GF realised he was overpowered, but instead of making him decent they accidentally went too far and made him utterly useless. And this is a pokemon you need to catch three legendaries already for - in a previous generation, no less, that need to be transferred over at least once, so it's probably the only legendary you need to have completed two games to catch. Not to mention the entire dungeon you have to get through to even find Regigigas and all that bullshit problem solving for the other three. It makes me sort of feel that the ability wasn't even necessary and the power he wields is absolutely earned
Sometimes I wonder if Gamefreak have any concept of balance at all, or even know if the metagame exists, because I can't think of any other reason why they would turn a pokemon that they've hyped up and made very difficult to acquire a total letdown
